About the journal
New Man & Society is a peer-reviewed, bi-annual journal published by Newman College, Thodupuzha, Kerala. Each number is devoted to a single theme, announced in the preceding issue, and brings together theoretical and empirical work from scholars and practitioners.
Aims and scope
- To examine the problems of the human person in society, in the era of modernisation and development.
- To publish research on the philosophical, scientific and social aspects of human life.
- To encourage interdisciplinary work across the sciences, social sciences and humanities.
- To provide a forum where academic research meets policy and practice.
What we publish
- Original research papers and articles on the theme of the issue.
- Book reviews, notes and comments.
- Papers that report empirical findings or develop theory.
Publication standards
- Submissions are reviewed by the editorial board before acceptance.
- Papers must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
- The views expressed are those of the contributors. The journal and the college are not responsible for them.
